ORIC has maintained a number contributions to the research of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations.

This includes supporting the Indigenous Economic Power Project, a research collaboration to compile a national longitudinal database of Indigenous businesses and their entrepreneurial activities. This includes research projects such as the Indigenous Business and Corporation Snapshot Study by the Dilin Duwa Centre for Indigenous Business Leadership.
