Delegated authority to lodge forms and reports
If you are a person to whom the board of directors has delegated authority to lodge forms and reports with ORIC on their behalf you will need to show evidence to ORIC.
How to supply your evidence
There are 2 ways to do this:
- In myCorp – A current director of the corporation can log into their myCorp account and lodge a request to record delegation of directors’ powers for you. This request will generate an email from myCorp inviting you to sign up or sign in.
- By email – Send an email to info@oric.gov.au asking ORIC to record your delegation against your myCorp user account and link your account to the relevant corporation. You will then be able lodge forms and reports for that corporation.
What evidence is required
For either way, you need to attach evidence of the directors’ resolution to delegate their powers. Evidence can be:
- a copy of the minutes of the directors’ meeting where the resolution was passed or
- a separate record from a director (see the example templates below).
Example: Record of directors' delegation of powers
The document contains 2 example templates:
- Delegation of directors’ powers (blank for you to specify what powers are delegated)
- Delegation of directors’ powers to lodge forms and reports with ORIC
Example: Email to request your myCorp account be linked to a corporation
Send your email to info@oric.gov.au with your supporting evidence attached.
