Release of first ORIC performance report
The Registrar has today released ORIC's inagural performance report, ORIC: What we have achieved, November 2024. This document is a brief report highlighting ORIC's progress since 1 July 2023 against a range of priorities in its regulatory posture and corporate plan.
The report highlights efforts on refreshing ORIC's operations that have the greatest impact on trust and confidence in our regulatory approach.
This is the first report following our new approach to public reporting on our performance. Under this approach we will be preparing 3 reports a year:
- what we are doing
- how well we are doing it
- the impact of our work.
We will continue to contribute an annual report that appears as an appendix in the Annual report of the National Indigenous Australians Agency.
The performance report is available on our website under About us and our work, ORIC performance reports | Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations. We invite all stakeholders and corporations to review the report to gain insights into our operations and future plans.
