Introducing the new Corporate governance for Indigenous corporations workshop

Thanks to feedback from participants and industry, we’ve completely revised the program and content of our 2-day governance workshops. We kept the style and elements that participants loved, and we’ve responded to feedback from industry stakeholders with more content that stretches and challenges the thinking and practices of directors.

We collaborated with experts in corporate governance, Indigenous governance, and adult learning design and literacy to tailor a workshop that equips directors with the knowledge, skills and confidence to practise and lead effective and culturally respectful corporate governance.

The workshop covers:
•    governance best practice and compliance
•    integration of Indigenous cultural perspectives
•    practical activities and interactive case studies
•    checklists and resources for effective governance and compliance.

Participants will benefit from engaging activities, expert guidance and valuable peer networking opportunities.

This revised workshop follows our 2020 review of our governance training program. Since that review we have added a range of single-topic workshops, online and in-person, to complement our core workshop. We continue to review and refine those offerings every 6 months.
