A three to five year contract is on offer and a competitive remuneration package of $219,811 plus super and the opportunity to salary sacrifice. The role is based predominantly in West Perth with regular travel throughout the Yued region.
Yued Aboriginal Corporation
The Yued Aboriginal Corporation was established two years ago and is founded on 50,000 years of history, with the purpose of representing the Traditional Owners of the Yued region of the southwest of Western Australia. The organisation works to manage native title benefits, while also advancing and strengthening Noongar culture, language, heritage, and society.
Job description/overview
Working in partnership with the Board, the CEO is responsible for high functioning day-to-day operations and effective management of the Corporation and its 11 staff to grow the organisation and implement the Yued Indigenous Land Use Agreement for the Yued region. The CEO will ensure the strategic and operational goals of the corporation are achieved, considering the cultural imperatives and the Yued Aboriginal Corporation’s strategy.
Requirements
If you are a commercially minded executive with a well-developed understanding of Native Title, Land Use Agreements and cultural heritage, we would be interested to hear from you. A resilient leader with high level negotiation skills, an understanding of Government acquittals and grant funding, combined with a strategic outlook, will ensure success in the role.
