Before a person may be appointed as a director, that person must give the corporation a signed consent to act as a director of the corporation. The corporation must keep this consent in their records. (section 246–10 of the CATSI Act)
Corporations can customise this template to create their own consent form. Make sure you adjust it so that it suits your corporation's rules about becoming a director.
