David Tennant

David Tennant is a lawyer, with 20 years experience in the community sector. David is currently the chief executive officer of Familycare, a regional community provider based in Shepparton, Victoria, and came from the role of civil practice manager with Legal Aid ACT. He was previously employed by Canberra-based Care Inc. Financial Counselling Service as principal solicitor (1995–2000) before becoming the agency’s director (2000–08). David has held several representative positions, including terms as chair of both the Consumers’ Federation of Australia and the Australian Financial Counselling and Credit Reform Association.

Geetha Nair

Geetha Nair is the Australian Government Solicitor’s (AGS) National Pro Bono Manager and is responsible for the development, coordination and oversight of AGS’s pro bono work in Australia and overseas. Geetha has extensive litigation experience in private practice in Australia and Malaysia. She has acted in commercial and general litigation, personal injuries claims, intellectual property and insolvency claims, and has also advised in matters in the areas of contract, negligence, intellectual property and trade practices. Geetha has also undertaken several roles within in house legal branches of client agencies, including being the General Manager of Anti-Doping Operations and Legal Services within the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority.
