Established in 1973, the Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal community-controlled health service providing culturally responsive health and wellbeing care to more than 20,000 Aboriginal people in the Perth metropolitan region on Noongar Boodja country.
With 4 clinics, revenue approaching $25 million, 166 staff and an appetite for ongoing growth, Derbarl is seeking an experienced independent specialist director to join our Board.

Job description/overview
A background in financial management, corporate governance, accounting, law or the health sector will be highly regarded, but expressions of interest are also welcome from accomplished professionals who believe they have diverse and relevant experience and skills that might benefit the board.
This is a remunerated governance role providing the opportunity to collaborate with 5 member directors and an independent specialist director to help strategically position Derbarl as a leader in Aboriginal health.
The position requires commitment, diligence and cultural competency.
Directors must reside in Noongar Country.
