Yinhawangka Aboriginal Corporation is a non-profit organisation which acts as an agent for the Yinhawangka People in respect of their rights and obligations under various land use agreements. 

The organisation undertakes community activities and provides support to all beneficiaries of the Yinhawangka Trust. 

The Board is comprised of apical ancestors of the Yinhawangka people and is supported by Independent Directors, seeking a Chief Executive Officer who aligns with the organisation’s vision, values, and ambitious goals.

Salary and conditions

Salary: $225,000 - $250,000

You will receive a competitive remuneration package of $225,000 to $250,000 plus super on a three-year contract.

Regular travel to Paraburdoo is required if based in Perth. 

Should you choose to be based in Paraburdoo, accommodation, a vehicle, and isolated location airfares are offered in addition to the remuneration package.

Job description/overview

Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer will lead the organisation, managing a team of five direct reports and a total of 19 FTE plus casual staff, based in one of two locations: Perth and Paraburdoo.

Additionally, the Chief Executive Officer will manage the organisation’s financial resources and develop and maintain key stakeholder networks, drive a positive, resilient and collaborative workplace culture, professional partnerships, and collaborative relationships to support the success of the organisation.
